TERMS & CONDITIONS | LIMITED TIME EXTERNAL WINDOW CLEANING SPECIAL:

1. Promotion Period

1.1. The limited-time external window cleaning special (“Special”) is valid for a specific period as specified below:
Start Date: 20/06/2023. 
End Date: 31/07/2023.

1.2. The Special is only available for bookings made within this period.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The Special is open to all single storey residential and commercial properties located within the designated service area i.e. Within 20 kilometres of Craigmore, 5114. 

2.2. The Special is subject to availability and may be limited based on the service provider’s capacity. 

3. Pricing and Services

3.1. The Special includes external window cleaning services for eligible properties. 

3.2. The pricing for the Special is as follows: A flat fee of $99.99 for up to 20 windows as specified by Australian Home & Property Services Specify to be cleaned externally i.e. loose debris removed, spot-free finished glass, and frames to be wiped. Additional charges will be incurred for harsh debris removal (e.g., silicone, adhesives, mortar, paint, etc.), removal/washing of insect screens, poor window access, travel beyond 20km from Craigmore suburb, and for every window exceeding the permitted 20 within the Offer. 

3.3. Australian Home & Property Services will indicate clearly if there is going to be any additional charges exceeding the Offer amount prior to the completion of the service.

3.4. The Special pricing is applicable only during the promotion period. 

4. Booking and Scheduling

4.1. To avail of the Special, customers must book the service within the promotion period. 

4.2. Customers can book the Special by contacting the service provider directly or through their designated booking channels. 

4.3. The service provider will schedule the window cleaning appointment based on availability and mutually agreed-upon dates and times. 

5. Payment Terms

5.1. Payment for the Special is due at the time of service or as otherwise specified by the service provider. 

5.2. Accepted forms of payment may include cash, credit/debit card, eftpos terminal, or any other method agreed upon between the customer and the service provider. 

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

6.1. Customers may cancel or reschedule their window cleaning appointment by providing advance notice to the service provider. 

6.2. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 10% of the quoted amount, as determined by the service provider. 

7. Liability

7.1. The service provider will exercise reasonable care and skill in performing the window cleaning services. 

7.2. The service provider shall not be held liable for any damages or losses that may occur during or as a result of the window cleaning service, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct. 

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

8.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Australia. 

8.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian Consumer Law. 

9. Modifications

9.1. The service provider reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Special or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. 

9.2. Any modifications to the Special or these terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon posting the updated version on the service provider’s website or other designated platforms.  

By availing of the limited time external window cleaning special, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

TERMS OF SERVICE

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Terms and Conditions for Window Cleaning, Solar Panel Cleaning, and Pressure Washing Service:

1. Service Agreement
By engaging our window cleaning, solar panel cleaning, and pressure washing services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Scope of Services
We will provide professional window cleaning, solar panel cleaning, and pressure washing services as agreed upon. The specific details of the services, including pricing and frequency, will be discussed and documented in a separate agreement, work order, or estimate.

3. Payment
Payment for the services rendered is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept cash, eftpos, or electronic payments. Late payments may incur additional charges or interest as specified upon given estimates and invoices.

4. Cancellation or Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide us with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 10% of the total service cost.

5. Access and Safety:
It is your responsibility to ensure safe and unobstructed access to the areas to be serviced, including windows, solar panels, or surfaces requiring pressure washing. We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine that the conditions are hazardous or pose a risk to our employees or equipment.

6. Estimates:
Estimates are based on various factors including but not limited to; location, chemicals required, hourly estimate, etc. Estimates can be provided via email, over the phone, in person, or via short message service (SMS). We are able to provide estimates based on current images of the property or an on-site evaluation. Although these estimates are typically very accurate in certain circumstances discrepancies in quoted amounts and final cost may occur. In this case, the owner of the property will be alerted before the service is completed and a revised estimate will be provided by the technician attending your property, should the original quote be void. All quotes are exclusive of GST unless otherwise indicated by the appropriate representative at Australian Home & Property Services. Once the estimate has been agreed to by the client and Australian Home & Property Services an appointment can be scheduled. All estimated are valid for 30 days, after this period a revised quote will be provided.

7. Bookings & Acceptance
When a booking is made with Australian Home & Property Services for any of their services clients agree that they have read and understand the Terms & Conditions.

8. Time of Arrival
Due to the inherent challenges of our business, it is difficult to provide an exact arrival time for your Window Cleaner. Our cleaners are affected by various factors such as the unpredictable duration of preceding jobs, traffic conditions, and equipment dependencies. Therefore, we offer a time window during which your window cleaner may arrive, typically in 1 or 2-hour intervals. As a result, we will provide you with an estimated arrival time (ETA) typically falling within the following time frames: 07:30-9:30, 10:30-12:30, or 13:30-15:30. Please note that this estimated time should not be used to determine the duration of your specific job. If you have booked a service for solar panel cleaning, pressure cleaning, or external window cleaning, rest assured that, provided we have access, we are able to carry out these tasks without requiring your presence.

9. Notifications
Upon completion of each service, an automated email or SMS will be sent to notify you of the work’s completion and provide information regarding the service as well as your next scheduled cleaning date if applicable. Please verify that we have the accurate contact details for these notifications.

10. Weather Conditions
We undertake window cleaning operations in nearly all-weather conditions, as long as safety permits. Therefore, we may not entertain cancellations or postponements due to inclement weather. We reserve the right to cancel the service if the weather is determined to be danger or posing risk to our technicians.

11. Large Projects
Australian Home & Property Services reserves the right to request non-refundable deposits for scheduling large jobs exceeding a duration of 1 day on-site or involving high costs. Should the works be cancelled without re-booking or if significant notice is not provided for re-booking, any deposited funds will be forfeited as damages. Under certain circumstances of re-booking, a second deposit may be required.

12. Courtesy
During the presence of Australian Home & Property Services at the worksite, we kindly request that pets, children, and other individuals refrain from entering the work area. In commercial settings, Australian Home & Property Services assumes responsibility for crowd control and public safety. However, at certain locations, client cooperation may also be necessary to ensure the maintenance of public safety.

13. Window Cleaning Parameters of Service

13.1. Water Usage
By accepting or scheduling works with Australian Home & Property Services, you hereby grant Australian Home & Property Services the right to utilise the on-site water supply as necessary for the completion of the required tasks. If an exterior water supply is not accessible, it is imperative that Australian Home & Property Services be notified prior to accepting the quote, to ensure the feasibility of completing the works.

13.2. Electricity Usage
By accepting or scheduling works with Australian Home & Property Services, you hereby grant Australian Home & Property Services the right to utilise an on-site source of electricity, if necessary, to carry out any required tasks. In the event that no on-site electricity is accessible, it is imperative to inform Australian Home & Property Services prior to accepting the quotation, to ensure the completion of the works.

13.3. Insect Screens & Security Screens & Curtains & Blinds
When making a reservation with Australian Home & Property Services, the operator will enquire and document whether you possess removable fly screens and whether you would like them to be cleaned. In the event that we arrive and find that the fly screens and/or security screens cannot be removed or hinder the cleaning of a window/pane, we will explore alternative options to clean the window, this may incur additional charges. If the window/pane is unable to be cleaned, no cost will be incurred for that specific pane/window. Please be aware that Australian Home & Property Services cannot be held responsible for any damage to aged, ill-fitting insect screens, security screens, curtains, blinds, etc. during removal. If you have any concerns, we kindly request that you remove the blinds prior to the commencement of the service.

13.4. Harsh Debris Removal
External debris such as paint, varnish, lime scale, mastic, cement mortar, glue, labels, or other building products cannot be effectively removed solely with water. Additional arrangements can be made to address these issues, subject to survey and access, incurring additional cost. Our standard window cleaning service does not include paint scraping, stain or oxidation removal, or any similar tasks unless specifically stated. Please be aware that when dealing with such stubborn debris, commonly referred to as ‘Builders Cleans,’ we cannot guarantee that its removal won’t result in minor scratches on the glass. Although we will exercise the utmost care to avoid this, Australian Home & Property Services cannot be held responsible for any marks left after the cleaning process.

13.5. Window Track Cleaning
Our window track cleaning service is a basic offering that aims to eliminate dirt to the best extent possible using a portable vacuum, brush, or microfibre cloth. While this method effectively removes most dirt accumulation, it does not involve thorough scrubbing or deep dirt extraction from the tracks. If you desire complete dirt-free tracks, this additional service will incur a notable increase in the overall quote. Please note that if you have opted for an external-only cleaning, window tracks are excluded due to the need for internal access. We encourage you to consult with one of our friendly technicians for further clarification.

13.6. Streak Free Window Cleaning
Please be advised that the term “streak free window cleaning” specifically pertains to the cleaning of window glass and does not encompass the cleaning of frames, sills, or surrounds. Should you require these additional services, we are able to accommodate your request; however, please note that additional charges will apply.

13.7. Internal Window Cleaning
Although we exercise caution when cleaning internal windows, we cannot assume liability for any damage caused to the surrounding areas during the internal cleaning process.

13.8. Product Warranty
Australian Home & Property Services uses the highest quality products available. Warranties of products are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products used. Australian Home & Property Services will not provide extended warranty beyond the manufacturer specifications.

13.9. Removal of Fittings
Australian Home & Property Services kindly requests the removal of fittings around the home, such as deck and patio furniture, planters, pots, and other items that customers prefer to keep dry or might hinder the cleaning process. If it is not possible to remove or relocate these items, please notify Australian Home & Property Services in advance so that appropriate precautions can be taken to protect the items and ensure efficient cleaning. Please be aware that if a significant number of items need to be removed upon arrival for a scheduled job without prior notice during the initial quote, additional charges may apply for the time and labour involved in item removal. Australian Home & Property Services cannot be held responsible for any damage to fittings that are required to be removed. Fittings that cannot be removed due to fear of damage or due to their size and weight will be left in place and cleaned around.

13.10. Staining
Australian Home & Property Services is limited to being able to clean that which is dirty. In some circumstances glass may have already been subject to permanent staining, etching, burning, discoloration, or damage of surfaces. Some stains are resistant to conventional cleaning methods and attempting to remove them may result in further harm to specific surfaces. During the quoting process, Australian Home & Property Services will make every effort to inform you and identify any stains that may be unremovable. However, it is possible that some stains may only become apparent after the cleaning process.

13.11. Water Damage
Australian Home & Property Services requires your property to be well-maintained and weatherproof. Exterior electrical fixtures and outdoor fittings are expected to be weatherproof, unless stated otherwise during the quoting process. Doors, windows, and roofs should be installed to a weatherproof standard. We cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from water ingress due to inadequate installation, maintenance, or repair of electrical-related items, doors, windows, or roofs. To provide additional protection, we take precautions such as taping and bagging off fixtures whenever feasible and avoiding areas completely when necessary.

13.12. Chemical Usage
Australian Home & Property Services utilises industrial-grade chemicals to maximise cleaning effectiveness and ensure long-lasting results surpassing those of other companies. Our regular cleaning services exclusively employ eco-friendly and/or biodegradable chemicals. We take every necessary precaution to prevent harm to plants and vegetation. In the unlikely event of any damage, it typically resolves itself within 1-2 weeks. Please notify Australian Home & Property Services during the quoting process if you prefer chemical-free cleaning, as it may affect the pricing and outcomes of our service.

13.13. General Damage & Existing Damage
Australian Home & Property Services assumes no liability for pre-existing damage at any property or location. The appearance of such damage may be exacerbated after cleaning. We will diligently inform customers of any concerns during the quotation phase. We do not accept responsibility for damages resulting from or caused by incorrectly installed fixtures or fittings, broken or unsecured windows and doors, wood decay, construction defects, inadequately secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters, improper caulking, etc.

14. Pressure Cleaning Parameters of Service

14.1. Water Usage

14.4. Sealing
Australian Home & Property Services requires that surfaces sealed are maintained regularly to ensure longevity of sealers. It is advised that surfaces receive a yearly maintenance clean by Australian Home & Property Services to ensure sealer longevity and that surfaces cleaned are cleaned with approved methods advised by Australian Home & Property Services. Oil spills and non-water-based spills must be cleaned as soon as possible to avoid penetrating any substrates that are sealed with an oil repellent sealer. All sealers are “repellent” in nature and if staining agents are left on substrates for prolonged periods of time there is a chance that surface staining may occur. Sealing provides superior protection to surfaces via creating hydrophobic properties and providing oil-based stain resistance. This does not mean surfaces can’t get dirty, or that dirt, mould, and grime is unable to build up or appear on the surface. Ease of cleaning surfaces and maintaining surfaces is significantly increased through sealing. If you are ever concerned regarding the work performed by Australian Home & Property Services, your queries should be raised immediately and Australian Home & Property Services be notified.

14.5. Removal of Exterior Fittings
Australian Home & Property Services kindly requests the removal of fittings around the home, such as deck and patio furniture, planters, pots, and other items that customers prefer to keep dry or might hinder the cleaning process. However, it is possible that some stains may only become apparent after the cleaning process. Examples of stains that may be resistant to conventional cleaning methods include, but are not limited to, rust, red brick, oil, and paint spills.

14.7. Painted Surfaces
Australian Home & Property Services refrains from using high pressure to clean painted surfaces, as it can cause chipping, detachment, or damage to both old and new paint. Instead, we exclusively utilise soft washing, which is the safest and most effective method for cleaning delicate exterior surfaces. Although there is a possibility of paint chips falling off during the cleaning process, particularly if the paint is in a poor or newly applied condition, our team diligently highlights any concerns during the quoting process. It is worth noting that paint may undergo permanent bleaching, fading, damage, or oxidation due to aging or lack of maintenance. Please be aware that Australian Home & Property Services cannot be held accountable for the discovery of any imperfections on painted surfaces resulting from natural causes.

14.8. Soft Washing & Water Damage
Australian Home & Property Services requires your property to be well-maintained and weatherproof. This encompasses exterior electrical fixtures and outdoor fittings, unless stated otherwise during the quoting process. Doors, windows, and roofs should also be installed to a weatherproof standard. We cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from water ingress due to inadequate installation, maintenance, or repair of electrical-related items, doors, windows, or roofs. To provide additional protection, we take precautions such as taping and bagging off fixtures whenever feasible and avoiding areas completely when necessary.

14.9. Window Spotting
The occurrence of hard water spotting on windows can result from the drying of water. While Australian Home & Property Services does not offer complete DI and RO window cleaning as part of our regular soft washing service, we guarantee a significant reduction, if not complete prevention, of hard water spotting. Our specially formulated soft wash mixture effectively minimises hard water deposits, ensuring spot-free windows after cleaning. In the unlikely event of any damage, it typically resolves itself within 1-2 weeks. Please notify Australian Home & Property Services during the quoting process if you prefer chemical-free cleaning, as it may affect the pricing and outcomes of our service.

14.11. General Damage & Existing Damage
Australian Home & Property Services assumes no liability for pre-existing damage at any property or location. The appearance of such damage may be exacerbated after cleaning. We will diligently inform customers of any concerns during the quotation phase. We do not accept responsibility for damages resulting from or caused by incorrectly installed fixtures or fittings, broken or unsecured windows and doors, wood decay, construction defects, inadequately secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters, improper caulking, or aged and fragile mortar. Additionally, we are not liable for any loosened mortar or grouting during the cleaning process.

15. Solar Panel Cleaning Parameters of Service

15.1. Prior To Commencement of Job
Australian Home & Property Services assume that both the solar collection and rainwater collection systems are switched off prior to the commencement of work so as to ensure safety to the clients and quality of work.

15.2. Water Usage
By accepting or scheduling works with Australian Home & Property Services, you hereby grant Australian Home & Property Services the right to utilise the on-site water supply as necessary for the completion of the required tasks. If an exterior water supply is not accessible, it is imperative that Australian Home & Property Services be notified prior to accepting the quote, to ensure the feasibility of completing the works.

15.3. Electricity Usage
By accepting or scheduling works with Australian Home & Property Services, you hereby grant Australian Home & Property Services the right to utilize an on-site source of electricity, if necessary, to carry out any required tasks. 16. Satisfaction Guarantee
Please notify Australian Home & Property Services of any issues or concerns regarding your cleaning within 72 hours of the service. Please note that we cannot address any complaints received after this timeframe due to the specific requirements of solar panel, window, and pressure cleaning.

17. Liability
While we take utmost care during our services, accidents can happen. We are not liable for any damage caused to property or possessions unless it is a direct result of our negligence. We recommend removing fragile or valuable items from the area before our arrival.

18. Warranty
We strive to provide high-quality services; however, we cannot guarantee the longevity of the cleanliness of windows, solar panels, or surfaces due to environmental factors beyond our control. Any warranty or guarantee will be clearly stated in a separate agreement, work order, or estimate.

19. Insurance
We maintain general liability insurance to cover potential damages or injuries. However, we recommend you review your own insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage for any unforeseen circumstances.

20. Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and will not disclose any personal or confidential information obtained during the provision of our services unless required by law.

21. Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice. Any outstanding payments or fees owed at the time of termination will remain due.

22. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the SA Office of Consumer and Business Services (CBS).
